Chartwell Investment is a leading, Bath-based firm of independent financial advisors. The company’s existing website, and particularly its email newsletter, had become a key means to attract new business. However, the website lacked strong branding, while the cost of updating it was a barrier to exploiting its real potential.

Plum won the pitch to take the site forwards.

 

Plum began by developing three seperate possible routes for Chartwell’s site, each with a different branding and balance of information to design. The route chosen by Chartwell was the central of these, with a confident home page branding, giving way to detailed articles inside the site.

 We used Matchbox, our website management software, to enable the Chartwell team to update the site daily in-house, and send out weekly email bulletins to a large number of subscribers.

 

The level of traffic on the site has more than doubled as a result of our work, and received commendations from leading media such as the Sunday Times. The email newsletter continues to be a huge hit, and Chartwell are extremely happy with the results. We are currently looking at future developments.
