LDAP - or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol - is a system for maintaining a directory of employees or other people. With over 400 staff in the UK offices, Future needed a serious solution for people to quickly find job and contact information about members of other teams.
The brief was to develop an elegant, user-friendly interface to run on a PHP backend, connecting to a central LDAP server. |

Our research showed that speed and ease-of-use were critical to this application - otherwise staff would just phone the switchboard and ask to be put through. Over time, this becomes expensive.
We created a simple search, list and detail interface, giving users the option of seeing a simple or advanced search baron every page. |

Now Future people can get to know each other better :).
