Future's Licensing department handles the running of licenses to print magazines in over 30 countries worldwide.

The website has two objectives: to promote the titles to overseas publishers; and to provide a system for existing licensees to share publication files, promotional materials, marketing ideas and more.

Our role in this project was part of an on-going relationship with Future to develop a consistent identity and workflow for their online operations.

This was a complex, application-based site using some 15 different templates. We created these in a way that would enable the Perl CPAN back-end developers to implement them quickly, saving time and money.

And with all this techie functionality, it looks pretty good.

Greg Ingham, Chief Executive, says:

"The design of Future Publishing's international licensing website FELIX is excellent. The finished product fitted the brief perfectly. It's functional, stylish and portrays a great image for our business. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner; we wouldn't hesitate to use Nick [Nettleton, Plum Director] again for further projects."
