Jotun is one of the world's leading suppliers of paint products, particularly for industry. Key clients include Shell and BP, who spend perhaps surprising amounts painting oil tankers. This is because good paint can reduce friction and save millions in fuel costs.
Our job was to create a sophisticated application enabling Jotun and these key clients to share different kinds of documents - reports, updates, schedules, and so on - over the web. |

Plum created a custom, multi-tiered groupware application, enabling suppliers, clients and third-party contract to work together online, sharing files, posting and answering queries, and more.
The interface was designed to make the extranet extremely quick and easy to use, and also visually appealing.
We also created a sophisticated security system to protect this valuable information. |

The project has been a great success, enabling users to work together more effectively, and save a great deal of time.
The client, Janet Howe at Jotun, says:
"Plum's work on our client services extranet has been essential to our business. It's easy to use, has saved us time, and impressed our clients." |
