Panchang is a website dedicated to the huge astrology market. It has a unique time-based approach, and combines its roots in ancient Vedic philosophy with the latest Internet technology.

Having done a great deal of work with Plum, Panchang looked to us to design the concept and interface for a personalised desktop application integrating with their site.

Applying Panchang's approach to time with the way everyday people use their computers, Plum came up with the idea of extending the traditional desktop calendar to include horoscopes: when you open your calendar, you can see what each day holds in store.

An Update feature enables you to download the latest information from the site, while graphs show you what to expect for particular areas of your life, such as work, love, and so on.

Our concept was developed in-house into a complete, fully-featured application that has been a huge success with Panchang users.

Our interface and workflow design ensured that this complex information was easy to use and understand. And real focus on details - such as reminding people when they will next have to update information - presents a strong user-friendly image.
